The new terminal, developed by Singapore Cruise Centre, will begin operations in July 2026 and will gradually become the primary departure point for ferry services connecting Singapore with nearby destinations, including Batam. Ferry services will continue to operate as usual, with no changes to routes or sailing schedules. The main difference for passengers will be the upgraded terminal facilities and improved travel experience.
BatamFast Leads the Transition to the New Terminal
BatamFast will be the first ferry operator to commence operations from the new HarbourFront Ferry Terminal, starting on 7 July 2026. This makes BatamFast the pioneer operator at Singapore’s newest ferry terminal, allowing passengers to be among the first to experience the upgraded facilities.
Other ferry operators serving Indonesian destinations are expected to relocate in a second phase beginning on 15 July 2026.
Passengers travelling with BatamFast on or after 7 July 2026 should ensure they proceed to the new HarbourFront Ferry Terminal for check-in and boarding.

Take the North East Line (NEL) or Circle Line (CCL) and alight at HarbourFront MRT Station. Follow the directional signs leading to the ferry terminal.
By Taxi or Private Hire
Passengers may set their destination as HarbourFront Ferry Terminal and follow the designated drop-off points upon arrival.
By Bus
Numerous public bus services connect directly to HarbourFront Centre and the surrounding HarbourFront area.
To ensure a smooth departure process, passengers are encouraged to arrive at least 60 minutes before their scheduled sailing time.
